The first of our school workshops are well underway, putting the maker’s lesson plans into practice in primary schools across Dundee.
A session with Jolene Guthrie at Claypotts Primary School was all about encouraging pupils to engage with materials and learn how to produce a 3-D knitted fabric, whilst considering the design and production process. Jolene worked with pupils to uncover how patterns are linked mathematically through scale and repetition.
